Many recipients lack education and experience to claim their maximum allowances under the US Tax Code. Therefore PDO assists them by creating an easy-to-use online tax preparation interface. Beause PDO recipients are in poverty, the tax interface will auto-populate necessary information for them to claim the EITC and CTC tax credits with their yearly returns.
